Homeschool Day 2025

Date: Wednesday, October 1, 2025 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

What:

Discover the wonders of the Sonoran Desert with an unforgettable, hands-on learning adventure at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum — where science, wildlife, and nature come alive! Homeschoolers will enjoy a day of exploration and meaningful education.

Who:

Homeschool families with learners ages 3 to 18

Cost:

$8 per child; $12 per adult. No advanced tickets required. Simply pay at the Front Ticket Window and identify as a homeschool family.

Desert Museum Members, Native Americans (with Tribal ID or CIB) and children ages 2 and under receive free admission.

3. Live Animal Theater Program: 12:30 p.m. every day; free with Museum admission
4. Packrat Playhouse: free with Museum admission
   1. Packrat Playhouse may reach capacity. 30-minute reserved play times are available at the Packrat Playhouse entrance.
